So the word is that the new show "The Playboy Club" on NBC will be cancelled. The show only made it to third TV episodes. From the promotions that went to this project I thought that this show would have been a hit but since it has been on I haven't had an opportunity to check the show out. Also the show has gotten the best reviews, but it is sad to see another show go.
"NBC announced today that it is cancelling its highly-publicized new drama, “The Playboy Club,” after just three episodes.The Monday night drama, co-starring Naturi Naughton and Jenifer Lewis, had only 5 million viewers for its first episode two weeks ago and kept losing viewers.
Nielsen said the show, set in the 1960s, had only 3.5 million viewers last night. It’s the first cancellation of the new fall TV season.Its time slot will eventually be filled by Brian Williams’ new newsmagazine “Rock Center.”(http://www.eurweb.com/2011/10/playtime-is-over-for-nbcs-%e2%80%98playboy-club%e2%80%99/)
