So the word is that the members of the sorority Delta Sigma Theta are being singled out and raped by a serial rapist. I am in shock that someone would do this and what reason would he have to rape women of this sorority. This is a time where everyone needs to be cautious of their surroundings and always be on alert, but if you are a Delta in Texas be extremely careful.
"As previously reported Dallas, Texas police report that a man has been targeting Black women between the ages of 50 and 60 that belong to the sorority. He is estimated to be in his late 30s to mid-40s, 5 feet seven inches to 6 feet tall and 250 to 300 pounds with short hair, and possibly a receding hairline.Delta Sigma Theta issued a warning this week, telling its members not to wear their colors, remove their vehicle stickers, jewelry, clothing and accessories.
Cynthia M. A. Butler-McIntyre, National President of the sorority, said it isn't certain that the victims were targeted because of their affiliation, but “we are erring on the side of caution” and advising members “to take the necessary precautionary measures.”Four women have been sexually assaulted so far.
