Sam Cooper and Lily Allen last Saturday.
For the ceremony Lily wore Rupert's sky-high Hydra pumps in suede. "The original Hydra is very graphic with colour-block geometric strips worked into the platform and heel," Sanderson explains, "Lily loved the style, but wanted something softer and more feminine." The designer was happy to oblige and designed these pumps in a grey-ish/pearly suede. The Hydra has 5.5 inch heels and Lily reportedly "loved the simplicity, elegance and subtle sexiness”of the pumps.
For the evening party - with an 'English cricket and afternoon tea'-theme - at her home in the Cotswolds Lily chose for a bit more comfortable shoes (imagine walking on those Hydra's in the garden!), opting for Sanderson's colourful Rossini flats. "Lily was a a joy to work with, she knows what she likes and what she looks great in,” Sanderson says, he continues "I’ve been a fan of Lily’s for a long time so working with her has really been a highlight and hearing that Lily and Sam are expecting is wonderful news — congrats to the both of them!"

Lily Allen and Sam Cooper reveal to their wedding guests: we're expecting a baby!

Lily Allen waves after her wedding ceremony. If you look closesly you can see the beginnings of a baby bump.
Lily's new pregnancy comes almost seven months after the newlyweds sadly lost their son in the sixth month of their pregnancy. When Lily was photographed yesterday rumours immediately started: is that a little bit of extra room in her wedding dress? And is that little bit of room for a baby belly? Delphine Manivet, the designer of the dress (and so not Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld as some outlets report - even though it was expected that Lily would wear Chanel, she clearly did not), commented on Lily's pregnancy after news broke that Sam had shared it with their wedding guests. She said "It's beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her. She is very happy about that - it is something wonderful." Regarding the dress she added "You can see of course the little stomach - it looked very cute with the dress."
Speaking of the dress, more details are coming out (but not regarding the flowers. Grrrr.). The dress consisted of an underdress covered with a second lace overlay dress. The lace in the dress and veil was made in Calais, France. The train of the dress was reportedly over one meter/3.28 feet long.
A double congrats is in place. I hope that I'll soon be able to report about Lily and Sam's healthy baby!

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cooper.
Lily's dress was designed by French designer Delphine Manivet. It had over-the-elbow lace sleeves, a lace overlay, a long train, a fishtail skirt and a sweetheart neckline, that in combination with her veil gave the total quite a 1920's feel. Sam looked dashing in his black suit, grey tie and white rose corsage. I also really love Lily's wedding bouquet, but other than the fact that there are white roses in it, I can't seem to find the names of the other flowers in there. Pity.
According to The Daily Telegraph Lily's dress echoed Kate's (as in, from William, aka the duchess of Cambridge) wedding dress. I would disagree, the sweetheart neckline and the fishtail skirt make it a completely different dress. There's a good chance that the author of the Daily Telegraph article was a guy though :)
