      So the word is that the streets are about to get a little crazy after 12-thousand inmates are due to be released because of some kind of mix up within crack and cocaine drug laws. I am like this has to be a joke because that is too many people to be released. I am nervous to think about what is going to occur when these inmates are released.

   "CNN reports that thousands of prison inmates convicted of crack cocaine charges will be released early due to sentencing changes easing the disparity between the penalties for possessing or distributing crack vs. powder.
   Congress passed the Fair Sentencing Act in August 2010, changing the 100-to-1 disparity between minimum sentences for crack and powder cocaine to 18 to 1. In case you were wondering how New Jersey Nets's Kris Humphries was doing after news of his impending divorce with spouse Kim Kardashian surfaced this week, it turns out that he's going to be alright.  Whew!  I was so worried.  Sources close to Kim and Kris reported to multiple papers today that the prenuptial agreement which Kris and Kim signed (obviously) prior to their wedding stipulated that Kris would "only" be entitled to the profits made from their wedding, that Kim would keep any money she made during their marriage, and that Kim would keep all of her assets in the event of a divorce.  But according to The Superficial, Kim and Kris were entitled to 30 percent of the net from commercial sales during their wedding specials (to say nothing of the money they made from selling themselves their story and pictures to tabloids), which is reportedly an enormous sum of money as the special is airing in more than fifty (count 'em: F-I-F-T-Y) countries worldwide.  In other words, even though Kim's ass cheeks are clinched tightly on her millions, Kris is still going to make out like a bandit just from the wedding special profits.  Not bad for a doofus.  Good job, Kris.  I guess it's a good thing that you never read the letter I wrote six months ago.  (via thesuperficial)

   So the word is that Jennifer Lopez is going to play ACME detective best known in the 90's as Carmen Sandiego. I am excited to see "Jenny From The Block" play Ms. Sandiego because shes not a bad actress and her career is on the rise with her new job as one of the host of the hit show "American Idol."  I hope this movie does the show “Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?” justice.

     So the word is that rapper/actor/entrepreneur Ludacris and actress/philanthropist Keshia Knight Pulliam came together to help families in need. These two inspirational people have come up with the idea to feed 250 Atlanta families for the Thanksgiving holiday. I think that these two are doing a great thing because some people are not able to have a great dinner for Thanksgiving and it is also great that these celebrities are giving back to their hometown.

Diggy has become a star in his own right and having his support brings the youth on board to support, So having Mr. Simmons at the party for support should be great for Snoop.

    So the word is that super teen singer Justin Bieber has run into a scandal. A woman named Mariah Yeater has come forward and says that Bieber is her baby's father. LMAO this is too funny because this 20 year old woman is saying that this 17 year old star is the father of her three month old baby. People come up with the craziest stories. SMH I hope the truth comes to the light.

    So the word is that Floyd Mayweather is still hyped from his win over Victor Ortiz and now he wants to fight Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather's next fight is on May 5 and there hasn't been a boxer scheduled and he wants Pacquiao. This would be a great fight with two great boxers.
    I hope that there is no doubt about the winner in this fight because in Mayweather's last fight there were a lot of people that felt that he shouldn't have won the fight against Ortiz. Heres what Floyd Mayweather had to say about the possibility of fighting Manny Pacquiao:

   So the word is that a woman apparently burned another persons' garage down because they deleted her as a friend on Facebook. I am like is she for real? Is Facebook really that serious and I will answer that question no, its not. Watch out for Jennifer Christine Harris at 30 years old, she is really crazy, but she is lucky she didn't hurt anyone. People we have to do better and not let these social networking sites run our lives and stop taking these sites so serious.

     So the word is that football-pro legend turned actor Bubba Smith has passed away at 66. He passed from an acute drug intoxication. Bubba was known for playing with the Raiders and Oilers. Then he made a  transition into acting. It is sad for legend to pass away. RIP Bubba Smith.

    So the word is that radio personality Big Boy from "Big Boy's Neighborhood" is going to be writing a book. The book will be titled "An XL Life: Staying Big at Half the Size." I think that this book should be pretty good because it will focus on Big Boy's journey with weight loss and other life struggles.  If you have followed Big Boy's career he has lost a tremendous amount of weight.

Mehcad Brooks needs to slap his mamma for giving him that name, but that's a different story.  There have been rumors that Mehcad (of True Blood fame) was shagging former George Clooney squeeze Elisabetta Canalis since last week, when they were spotted together out in Berlin, but now the rumors are settling down into fact.  Elisabetta is in Milan and Mehcad was not far behind as they hit the shops and walked very slowly for the cameras to snap pictures of them.  Ah, it's good to be young and rich (Mehcad is 31 and Elisabetta is 33)!  I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Mehcad is an upgrade from Clooney.  (via imnotobsessed)

    So the word is that singer Alicia Keys is giving back to her high school and in an inspirational way. She is going back to her school and handing out musical instruments. I think that it is great that she is doing this because she is helping a place that helped her and she is helping youth find passions in music.     So the word is that this year for the White House Corespondent Dinner in which is a night to relax and have fun and have some laughs at the expense of the president at that given time. Meaning that there will be a roast of the president. This year comedian Jimmy Kimmel will be going in on President Obama. I hope that his jokes do not focus on Obama's race. From the times that I have checked out Jimmy Kimmel's show, he seemed funny, so I am excited to see what he has to say about our president.

   So the word is that singer Rihanna was rushed to the hospital and as a result of being hospitalized she had to cancel a show. To make things even more crazy was the fact that she was overseas touring for her  "Loud" album, which made her have to go to a hospital in Sweden.
  
   I just hope that she is alright and gets better so that she wont have to cancel anymore shows because her fans may go crazy and start a riot. Rihanna has become a great artist that is highly anticipated with her albums, fashions and shows, so get better Rihanna!
