In light of recent circumstances surrounding Rob, this seems appropriate.
The PAPARAZZI Reform Initiative was founded in February, 2009, to educate the public on the paparazzi industry, push for new stronger privacy laws and effect reform that restores order to our streets and privacy not only for those in the spotlight, but for everyone.
The intent for this website is to act as a clearinghouse for information regarding the paparazzi: news stories, video, commentary, comments from readers, an overview of the industry and our progress toward reform.
Ultimately, this Initiative* is part of a much larger issue confronting all Americans in this ever increasing digital age: personal privacy. Though this site specifically details the situation facing those with fame and the paparazzi that pursue them, the issues are the same for everyone. Does a coworker have the right to put your photo on the internet without your permission? Could they sell your photo to a marketing company in Russia to use in an advertisement without your knowledge or consent? New digital technology emerges constantly and the laws in this area are undefined. In the end, we believe all individuals, famous or not, have the right to personal privacy while engaged in non-newsworthy events.
Causing the needed change to this industry and in the broader sphere of personal privacy rights requires like-minded people and groups banding together for a common beneficial purpose. It requires all media to agree to a new CODE OF ETHICS regarding the use of paparazzi-generated photographs. It requires brilliant lawyers finding effective ways to enforce reform. Ultimately, it requires everyone getting educated on the problem and TAKING ACTION. We at The PAPARAZZI Reform Initiative invite your ideas and help to make reform a reality.Mission StatementThe restoration of an individual’s right to privacy in our rapidly advancing technological age through education, legal action, lobbying and other effective methods.

Updating The Elephant In The Room...... Apple's "Where's Rob" App - Debate Over!
0 comments Posted by kotang at 3:33 PMFor those of you that are still in a quandary over the recent Apple App release of: "Where is Robert? - A Robert Pattinson Fan App" I am posting this update to coincide with my original findings. After the incidents over this past weekend, I assumed this would be when we could really see it being used in a negative way, that is, if indeed the Google search posting method would be possible. I am happy to report that using my 12 year old and her ITouch again has come in handy as the App actually had not been updated in over a week and, again, all updates were "after the fact". The App was not updated with his whereabouts from Saturday Evening/Night until last night (Sunday) at around 7PM PST. For anyone still on the fence about this (and I seriously cannot imagine why) I can say with utmost certainty this is now a complete non-issue. For those of you who have not had the chance to read my original post regading this, go here: Original Post

E! Online - Christoph Waltz Talks About Rob, His Performance in WFE And A Few Other Things.....
0 comments Posted by kotang at 2:13 PMBelow is the direct link to an interview with Rob's WFE co-star Christoph Waltz. Because Robert Pattinson U.S. will not post anything related to incidents involving the paparazzi, you can choose to click below and read the article directly from it's source. There is discussion of the most recent intrusion to Rob's personal life. I don't need to reference it as thats already been done enough. But becasue there are relevant comments made in the article, I am not going to censor the author; but instead allow you the choice.

Robert Pattinson U.S. - Our Thoughts on Events over the Weekend
0 comments Posted by kotang at 5:18 AMBy now most if not all Robert Pattinson's fans have heard or even seen evidence regarding an incident Rob had with the paparazzi which took place over the weekend. We will not rehash the morally reprehensible behavior of the paparazzi involved nor will we discuss the details of Rob's coming and goings on his own personal time. However we would like to take this opportunity to remind our followers that Robert Pattinson U.S. does not condone the intrusion into Robert’s personal life that so often happens with the paparazzi. To remain true to Robert and his fans, we stand by our vision when we created this site to not post any photographs or video footage taken while Rob is not working. We will also continue to remain free from gossip and only post confirmed facts and news from reliable sources.
If you are compelled to take action, you can contact The Paparazzi Reform Initiative and you can contact Anti-Paparazzi.org who can also be found on twitter here.
