Hugh Hefner, 85, is wasting no time now that ex-fiancee Crystal Harris left him. After announcing that Anna Sophia Berglund was his "best girl" and "one in a million", Hef has no made public that he has another girlfriend as well: Shera Bechard. "Shera is both our November 2011 Playmate & my new girlfriend," Hef tweeted on Monday.

Shera is 27 years old and is originally from Canada. She played a mute Russian girl in the 2009 thriller Sweet Karma.

Hugh Hefner must have thought that at 85 there's no time to waste. No mourning period with lots of crying for Hef, after Crystal Harris called their wedding off. Actually, he's supposed to already have a new girlfriend! Anna Sophia Berglund, another lovely 25-year old blonde, has supposedly already moved into the Playboy Mansion and into Hugh's bedroom as well. Apparently, the won't stop calling each other 'babe' either.

Crystal and Hugh were supposed to marry yesterday, but both had other activities planned already. Crystal was spotted at a Las Vegas party where she hung out with Heidi Montag, and Hugh spent his day frolicking around with his new girlfriend.

Crystal Harris and Hugh Hefner called off their June 19th wedding. Lifetime cancelled their Marrying Hef special coverage, but Playboy already went to print before the news broke. Therefore, coming Friday (in the US) Crystal Harris is on the cover of Playboy as "Mrs. Crystal Hefner". Oops..

The cover shot shows Crystal in a leather chair, with a pipe and captain's hat - a clear nod to Hugh - with their dog Charlie. Only I don't think that Hugh would sit in a leather chair sans panties :)

Edit: Crystal's cover will come with a sticker saying 'Runaway Bride in this issue'. Hugh just tweeted: "Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands."

After a major blow-out last weekend, Crystal Harris has reportedly packed her bags and left the Playboy Mansion. Crystal Harris and Hugh Hefner were set to marry coming Saturday at said Mansion. However, 'insiders' say that Crystal does not want to say 'til death do us part' anymore.

Hefner, 84, proposed to his 24-year old girlfriend on Christmas Eve. This was supposed to be her first walk down the aisle and his third. Hugh has only divorced his second wife, Kimberly Conrad, last year in March. Albeit they had been separated for many years. Perhaps either party decided that an age difference of 60 years might be a tad too much...

UPDATE: Both Hugh and Crystal have come with statements about them not getting married. Hugh tweeted "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart." He also denies the claim that the former couple had an argument, saying that the split is just about Crystal changing her mind. Although he's saddened about the break-up, he'd rather have it now than after the wedding. He even made a joke, saying that he wanted to watch a movie and thought that 'Runaway Bride' would be most appropriate.

Crystal wrote a message on her website saying "after much  reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef. I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time." In the mean time, her manager Michael Blakey has answered rumours about Crystal having an affair with Dr. Phil's son Jordan McGraw. According to Blakey the rumours are simply that, rumours, there's no truth to them. Furthermore, some of Crystal's 'friends' have reacted to the news, saying that Crystal thought she wouldn't be able to combine her life as a married woman with her career. Crystal's first single came out Tuesday. Coincidentally (?) the single was written by Crystal and rumoured beau Jordan McGraw.

I wonder what will happen with her pink Romona Keveza gown and their Torrance Bakery strawberry cake..
