   So the word is that racism still lives in Houston after word broke that a young African American male moved to an upscale neighborhood and was told by security guards that they were unable to allow black male guess in the gated community.

   When I read the story I was in disbelief that these people acted as if we are still in the Jim Crow time period where people were unable to have stores and other things accessible to them due to their race. SMH every time when I think that we as a people are making steps in becoming unified and color blind things like this happen makes me think that we are taking steps back.
