    So the word is that hurricane Irene is headed toward the east coast and is due to be powerful. After hurricane Katrina tore down the gulf coast everyone should try to prepare themselves every time there is a hurricane warning.

   If I were on the east coast I would just pack up and go on a vacation. I hope that it is not severe because I do not think that the east coast can endure anything strong because of the recent earth quake SMH , let everyone pray for the east coast.

   "Hurricane Irene has gained strength over the Bahamas, turning into a category 3 storm. It’s headed right for the Ocracoke Island in North Carolina and evacuations have begun.
