So the word is that a lot of artist have paid respect to our fellow firemen and policemen for their work but through song. I think that it's great that artist like Cee Lo Green and Beyonce have taken the time to create these tracks.
Cee Lo has changes his hit song "Forget You" aka "F*** You" into "Thank You" and that's what's up that he can change the song and show respect, due to the fact that Cee Lo his-self was saved with mother during an accident it makes the song hit close to home.

Beyonce has just premiered her song "God Bless The USA". Beyonce is also using the the track to raise money for  the New York Police and Fire Widows and Children’s Benefit Fund. The track just went on sell yesterday.

“As entertainers in the public light, we have a unique opportunity to raise awareness for causes close to our hearts through our greatest passion: music,” Green says. “That’s why I am proud to join the Power Those Who Protect Us cause, to tell my own story and shed light on the tireless sacrifices our nation’s volunteers make each and every day to protect their communities.”(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=103223)
