Can you still see little Simon Camden in him? David Gallagher is well-known for his role in 7th Heaven and you'd probably still imagine him to be a sweet little boy. Little boys do grow up, and most recently the 26-year old has played in the science-fiction movie Super 8.

Super 8 was also the reason, according to US Weekly,  that David was contacted by the CW network. CW hasn't officially confirmed it yet, but David will appear in the first two episodes of the third season of Vampire Diaries. He'll play Ray Sutton, a werewolf, who'll encounter Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in Tennessee.

The third season of Vampire Diaries will start September 15th.
