So the word is that there was a small competition to figure out who will be the new Old Spice deodorant spokesperson. The contestants were Fabio and the new Old Spice guy Isaiah Mustafa. Both men made ads and fans voted on which man they wanted to see who will be the face of the brand.

Like all competitions there was some smack talking and jabs were thrown, but in the end Isaiah Mustafa was the winner , in which a lot of people are saying that Fabio was not competition for the Old Spice guy. LOL My question is how old is Fabio like 50 LMAO.
"So, in a series of videos up until Thursday, the two pitchmen went head to head in a series of battles for the top spot. They held staring and whistling contests, and gave advice on writing love letters and working out.At the end of the day, the best man was named the winner — Mustafa of course. When asked if he was worried about who’d come out on top, he told the Associated Press it was a breeze.
“Not at all,” he said. “There are so many fans that enjoy the Old Spice Guy, there’s not really a calling for him to disappear.”Mustafa said he expects to stay on as Old Spice pitchman “as long as people like the character and are having fun with it.” Meanwhile, he continues to pursue his acting career in TV and movies including small roles in the current comedy “Horrible Bosses” and next year’s “Three Stooges” movie."(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=121650)

So the word is that a remarkable event occured in Guyana where a plane with 163 people crashed and split into pieces, but everyone surived. I was surprised because when a person hears of a plane crash there is no word of any surviors, so when I heard the word that there was a crash and everyone surived that sounded like a blessing. Everyone take time and thank God for letting you see another day.

“We are very, very thankful and grateful that there are no deaths,” Guyana’s President, Bharrat Jagdeo, said at the airport in Georgetown. He said the Boeing 737 narrowly missed sliding down a 200-foot ravine – an outcome that could have led to numerous fatalities.Airline officials told Reuters that one passenger had a broken leg, and several others suffered neck and back injuries."     So the word is that this years MTV Video Music Awards 2011 is due to be exciting and full of talent. The VMA's is a huge award show every year and every year something happens which is talked about for months and years.
I wonder what the artists are going to where and how the performances will go and how creative the show is.
Currently the artist that are set to perform at this years show is Chris Brown, Adele and Lil Wayne. So just by staying those three names the show will be on point. I can't wait to check out the show that is due to air on Aug 28th, so check it out and see what happens.

So the word is that the popular show "The Mo'Nique Show" where comedian and actress Mo'Nique, talks about current events is being cancelled. I can see why the show might be  cancelled because of all of the yelling. Also in this week other site let out some stories saying that were off the wall about this situation but it's just the show is being cancelled.

"This didn’t appear to be an issue of ratings. I didn’t have time to do an entire season’s check on ratings so I sampled four weeks in April, 2011 vs. April 2010. Ratings from April 5 to April 29, 2010 averaged 615,000 viewers a night. From April 4 to April 28, 2011, her show averaged 586,000. That’s only a five percent drop."(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=121292)

So this statement leaves me thinking that there is somethings going on behind the scene that are not  being said SMH.

So the word is that well known music group Outkast maybe planning a reunion. The world hasn't heard anything from Outkast for the past few years and I think that it would be great for the group to work back together?

Big Boi : “I think it’s very much possible because we have L.A. Reid in our corner now, and he was the first to sign Outkast,” Big Boi said, referring to the major transition Epic Records made.
Big Boi is signed as a solo artist with Def Jam while Outkast is signed to Jive. The deals kept the pair’s work from appearing on his 2010 solo debut, “Sir Lucious Left Foot: Son of Chico Dusty.”
“L.A. Reid has permission to make it happen now,” Big Boi said. “so I hope it does, and I don’t really see why it won’t.”(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=121131)

So L.A. Reid you need to get on it because Outkast was a group that just worked and had hit songs back to back. Only time will tell if this group will come back together.

We've seen Justin Bieber's new tattoo before, but this photo (tweeted by dad Jeremy) shows us what it'll look like 20 years from now. Jeremy and Justin both got a tattoo that says 'Yeshua' (the Hebrew word for Jesus) and the tattoos are in the exact same spot as well! It's too cute that Justin and his dad are so close!

So the word is that David Wu Oregon Congressman has resigned after word broke that he had an unwanted sexual counter with a young lady who is now 18 years old.

Wu has made the statement: “I cannot care for my family the way I wish while serving in Congress and fighting these very serious allegations,” Wu claims the incident with the daughter of a longtime friend and donor–who is now 18 years old–was consensual, and said he will continue to serve until the resolution of the debt ceiling battle.
Wu for months faced intense pressure back home to resign following reports of his erratic behavior. Prior to today’s announcement, he tried to deflect such pressure by stressing that he was undergoing mental health treatment. On Friday, Wu’s problems deepened when The Oregonian reported on the allegations over the unwanted sexual encounter. House Democrats on Sunday called for an ethics investigation into the incident, increasing the public pressure on the seven term congressman to leave office.
Wu at first indicated he would simply retire in 2012, and would not resign. Wu disclosed in July 2010 that he had stopped drinking. He was legally separated from his wife the following month. This past February, the congressman admitted to receiving mental health treatment following reports of his bizarre behavior.
Due to Wu’s perceived vulnerability, a competitive 2012 race had already been taking shape in his 1st District. State labor commissioner Brad Avakian began campaigning for the seat in April and has been joined by state Rep. Brad Witt for the Democratic nomination. The seat overall leans Democratic.(http://bossip.com/424305/dirty-shady-congressman-diaries-david-wu-resigns-after-having-unwanted-sexual-encounter-with-teenage-girl/)
Wow its a good thing that he resigns and I am tired of all of these people in government always wrapped up in something, get it together government.

So the word is that discrimination still lives strong in Arkansas, which was clearly showing when A young African American lady had the highest G.P.A. of her class and was not able to be sole valedictorian.

I was too confused on how the principle was just able to elect someone else to be valedictorian with Kymberly Wimberly when the other student did not have the same G.P.A. It's almost like a slap in the face because Kymberly Wimberly put in work in school and only received one B in high school while taking multiple honors advance placement courses and then these people are going to put someone at the same level as her and say that they deserve the same honor as her because it looks better?

"Wimberly says that despite earning the highest G.P.A. of the Class of 2011, and being informed of it by a school counselor, “school administrators and personnel treated two other white students as heir[s] apparent to the valedictorian and salutatorian spots."Wimberly’s mother is the school’s “certified media specialist.” She says in the federal discrimination complaint that after her daughter had been told she would be valedictorian, the mother heard “in the copy room that same day, other school personnel expressed concern that Wimberly’s status as valedictorian might cause a ‘big mess.’”

McGehee Secondary School is predominantly white, and 46 percent African-American, according to the complaint. Bratton says that the day after she heard the “big mess” comment, McGehee Principal Darrell Thompson, a defendant, told her “that he decided to name a white student as co-valedictorian,” although the white student had a lower G.P.A.
Bratton says she tried to protest the decision to the school board, but defendant Superintendent Thomas Gathen would not let her speak, because she allegedly had “filled out the wrong form. Instead of ‘public comments,’ Gather [sic] said Bratton should have asked for ‘public participation.’” The superintendent told her she could not appeal his decision until the June 28 school board meeting; graduation was May 13.
The last African-American valedictorian in McGehee School District was in 1989. Wimberly says the school discourages black students from taking honors and advanced placement classes, “by telling them, among other things, that the work was too hard.”
“Because of defendants’ continuous disparate treatment of African-American students, defendants’ actions toward the plaintiff can properly be classed as intentional,” the complaint states.“Defendants did not support African-American students, and did not want to see Wimberly, an African-American young mother as valedictorian.“But for Wimberly’s race, defendants would not have selected a student with a lower G.P.A. than Wimberly to also be a valedictorian.”
She seeks punitive damages for constitutional violations, and an injunction declaring her sole valedictorian of the school’s Class of 2011. She is represented by John Walker of Little Rock." (http://bossip.com/424003/arkansas-school-bars-black-student-from-being-valedictorian-despite-having-the-highest-gpa30346/)

SMH this story is crazy because it doesn't make any sense for Wimberly to be disrespected and ignored. I hope that she wins her case because than people can see that it is not ok to give someone else's credit to someone who does not deserve it.

Justin Bieber took Selena Gomez out for dinner. Recently, he has been quoted as saying, that you need to "treat a woman right," however, he ended up taking Selena out for a romantic dinner at... Hooters?! A chain that advertises staring at scantily clad young ladies. Selena didn't seem to mind though. The couple played concerts on the same day, July 24th, in Burbank, California. Of course, they made the most out of the time they could spend with each other. A fan blog posted this photo of the couple, enjoying their dinner and conversation.

So the word is that popular R&B singer R.Kelly owes $837,000 in federal tax. I am like dang how did he let his debt it get up that high. These celebs need to get better accountants.  It is sad that Mr.Kelly has to deal with this in his time of sickness. Also it is said that his home may be up foreclosure and that's going to be even worst so I hope something works out for him.

So the word is that a man took out a gun and killed five people and injured four people at his son's Birthday party in which ended with the father killing his self which brought the total of six people killed. I am so confused on why anyone would carry on them at a child's party and I wish I had more of a back story, this is what is known at this current time:

"Six people were killed and four wounded when a man pulled out a gun during a boy’s birthday party at a Grand Prairie skating rink and opened fire, police say. The shooting took place Saturday evening at the Forum Roller World on the 1900-block of N. Great Southwest Parkway.
Grand Prairie police chief Steve Dye said investigators believe it started as a family argument that quickly escalated out of control.
“It appears to be a domestic situation at this point. That’s our initial findings. And it appears the suspect did die from a self-inflicted gun wound,” Dye said. “We’re still working on identifying the victims, so that’s all I have on the victims at this point is that we have six deceased victims and four injured that have been transported to area hospitals.”
The father of two children who attended the party said the shooter was the father of a boy celebrating his 11th birthday. Sen Nguyen said the gunman’s wife and other family members were among those shot.
“He was a friendly guy,” said Nguyen. “I don’t believe it happened like this. He was a family man.” The condition, identities and ages of the survivors were not immediately known, but police said the victims were all adults and no children were injured.
The rink was closed for the private birthday party and not open to the public at the time of the shootings, police said. Investigators haven’t said how many people were inside the roller rink at the time of the shooting." (http://bossip.com/423219/jesus-take-the-wheel-texas-man-murks-six-people-including-himself-and-wife-at-sons-11th-birthday-party-at-the-skating-rink/)
I hope someone comes forward with the full story because right now this story is not making sense and there are a lot of unanswered questions. Like where are all the people that attended the party and what set this "Family Man" off? Hopefully there will be an update to this story.

So the word is that talented singer Amy Winehouse has lost her life today. Most of Amy Winehouse's career has been filled with her struggles with alcohol and drugs, but her talent could not be denied.

Currently the cause of death is unknown and I am sad to know that she wont be creating new music ,but one thing is sure and that is that her music will live on. RIP Amy Winehouse. She was only 27 SMH

So the word is that comedian Kevin Hart is coming out with a movie  version of his stand-up tour called "Laugh At My Pain." This movie is expected to be on point  due to the success of the stand-up show that brought in $15,000,000.
The movie comes out September 9th. I am excited to see what Kevin Hart is talking about because the stand-up shows and movies that I have seen him in have been hilarious, so check out the trailer:

So the word is that a women was questioned kicked off of a JetBlue flight because she was accused of not having on underwear. I don't even understand why this would even come up, I know that she had pants on because she wouldn't have made it through airport security ,so it sounds like someone just wanted to be freaky LOL.

"Malinda Knowles, 27, claims that during a pre flight walk through, a JetBlue supervisor put a walkie talkie between her legs to see if she was wearing underpants."He said, 'I don't want to see your panties or anything but do you have any on?'" Knowles recalled yesterday."I didn't want to show him anything. He wanted me to basically show him my crotch. I was completely humiliated. It was vulgar. It was macho. It was rude."

According to Knowles, she was escorted off the plane and forced to prove that she was wearing shorts under her baggy shirt. After the confirmation, she returned to the plane only to be told the pilot would not fly with her on the plane."He said, 'The captain is refusing to fly you today. We need to remove you from the flight,'" said Knowles. She was forced to take a later flight which delayed her departure by four hours.

"I really feel like the guy just wanted to demean me in some way," she said.
Knowles is seeking unspecified damages in the civil suit which accuses the airline worker of assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress." (http://hiphopwired.com/2011/07/22/woman-kicked-off-flight-falsely-accused-of-not-wearing-underwear/)

I think she should win her case because it sounds like a bunch on unnecessary actions occurred during her time of trying to take her flight. She paid her money and did nothing wrong and was treated as  someone who was disrupting the flight. SMH

So the word is that Beyonce Knowles plans on having a baby by the age of 40. I'm glad she prepared everyone because there has been too many times where people have said that she was pregnant. I hope that everything works out ,so that she can have her child and if she is still singing and doing all of her other ventures that she is able to joggle it all.

But here's what Beyonce had to say:“Before I hit the age of 40, I’d love to have some children. I would love to direct, continue to learn videos and maybe by then a film, short film or documentary. I love documentaries. I just hope that I’m happy and into my children, well adjusted and still making music if that makes me happy at that time.”(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=120136)

I wonder who the baby will look like Jay-Z or Beyonce? Either way it seems like they will great parents and this child will be talented for sure.

So the word is that the talented R&B group Boys II Men are coming back with a new album that will celebrate the 20 years they have been in the game hence the name "20". Also the CD will have 20 songs 10 old and 10 new.

Here's a statement from member Shawn Stockman:

“From day one our fans have been amazing, they’ve seen us grow from boys to men, so we owe all our success to their continued support.” Nathan Morris commented. “No matter how many albums we have done through out the years, we always strive to put out the best sounding music possible. We are excited to be in the studio again with the guys who have been apart of some of our biggest hits to date, it’s a really good feeling.”(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=119853)
Get ready this fall for "20" I want to see if they will change their style at all. I'm getting excited!!

So the word is that Memphis City Schools won't be starting on their planned date of Aug. 8th.

    ( The Story)
"MCS board members voted 8-1 Tuesday to delay the Aug. 8 start of the school year until the city pays a disputed amount of money the school system says the city owes for the fiscal year that began July 1.
MCS officials and Memphis City Council members are scheduled to meet Aug. 2, six days before what was to be the start of the school year. The council will vote that afternoon on $3 million in partial funding for the current fiscal year with another $5 million to come when the tax revenue is collected by the city treasurer’s office.
The vote at a special school board meeting capped a day of action and reaction in a three year funding dispute between the two bodies that began in 2008 when the then newly elected Memphis City Council cut MCS funding.
That prompted a court fight in which two courts ordered the city to pay the school system funding it withheld that year and ruled there is a maintenance of effort funding requirement in state law that includes city funding. But there are other connected legal questions not yet decided and city leaders maintain the courts set no parameters for how and when a payment plan should proceed.
School board members discussed delaying the start of the school year at their regular Monday meeting and set up the Tuesday meeting. They also passed a resolution Monday demanding the payment of $9 million they contend is past due on a total of $78 million.
Board members have differed with one another in the past over how to seek what they consider to be full payment of funding obligations from the city. But they have shared growing frustration over the pace of those payments and negotiations that involve not only Memphis Mayor A C Wharton Jr. but the City Council.
Wharton and council members said Tuesday they are living up to their agreed upon funding obligations to MCS.
Wharton said the statements Monday, July 18, by school board members and MCS superintendent Dr. Kriner Cash were a “mischaracterization.”
And he said he talked with Cash by phone Friday with city chief administrative officer George Little listening in to make sure the city and MCS were on the same page about city funding amounts for the fiscal year that began July 1. He said the amount to be paid in August with council approval is $3 million.
'The money is there,” Wharton said. “I don’t know how to state it with any more clarity.'"

It's crazy thinking about what parents and teachers are going to do if they do not start on time and then what if they change the date back to the original date. Will they be prepared?  I hope everything works out because education should be organized and structured.

So the word is that we have another remake on our hands. So there will be a remake of the 90's cartoon "Captain Planet", but the movie version is planned to be real life-like and no longer a cartoon. I think this movie will be great for a lot of people ,so they can reminisce over their time watching this show.

I just hope that this is not another one of those remakes that aren't good at all and makes people not want to watch remakes. I am excited to see what the people come up with and see what changes are made. Am I the only one excited?

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

So the word is that a teen died during a accident where star NBA player Lamar Odom was involved ,but this is all bad because everyone is associating the accident with Lamar Odom but he was in the backseat of the car.

I wanted to address the situation because from what I have read, a lot of media sites have made the situation all about Lamar Odom and I feel that he was just someone in the car.  I feel that the focus should be on the fact that a youth lost their life during the accident.

This is the current story of what occurred during the accident:"Odom was in NY to attend a funeral for his cousin — and had hired a car service to drive him around town during his visit. But while Odom was in the car, the vehicle was involved in an accident with a motorcycle … which was propelled into a 15-year-old pedestrian.
The boy’s family tells us … the boy sustained major head injuries in the collision. The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital … and emergency surgery was performed in an effort to save his life … but the injuries proved to be too severe … and the boy died the following day. The boy’s funeral was held on Monday." (http://www.eurweb.com/?p=119321)
I just hope that the family of the young man can make it through this hard time. Also I just really hope that people read the stories rather than just passing judgement on Odom , he was in New York for a funeral for a family memeber ,so he was already going through a ruff time.

So the word is that in (eurweb.com)'s eyes Judge Mablean is truly missed on daytime television. To be honest I always thought what happen to her until I started to see her in Tyler Perry movies, but I do not feel that just seeing her in the movies for a few seconds was good enough because for me I am still thinking whatever happen to her on "Divorce Court"?
“The truth is that Fox and I were unable to reach an agreement, after several months of negotiations. I was willing to stay. Fox was unwilling to pay,” she told reporters at the time. Ephriam, 62, went on to explain that Fox offered her “substantially less than all of the other court show judges,” and although she lowered her offer in an effort to reach a settlement, Fox remained firm in its low-ball, take-or-leave it offer,
“which contained a very small increase from its initial position, coupled with some other unreasonable demands” – among them, a provision that she not change her hairstyle, “to avoid time consuming issues,” the network stated in the proposed contract.
Needless to say, Ephriam was offended, and her time with “Divorce Court” ended abruptly.
Cut to July 2011. EURweb’s Lee Bailey ran into Her Honor at the JazzFest West event over the weekend and discovered she is “ready, willing and able” to negotiate with Fox to replace her replacement, Judge Lynn Toler."
“People are calling me and sending me emails asking how can they get me back on ‘Divorce Court’ and get rid of the other lady,” she said. “And I say I don’t know, but you should start a campaign and see what happens. The ratings are down right now, and I’m ready to come back if Fox is ready to have me back.”(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=119284)
Were you one of the people that missed seeing the judge on daytime TV? So if you miss her, let your voice be heard by sending emails to FOX letting them know what we want to see.

So the word is that VH1's hit show "Single Ladies" has been renewed for a second season. I enjoy the show and it seems as if the show improves every episode. I like the comedy, romance and the drama of this show. Lately there has been some mixed reviews for the show but in my opinion it has grown and is building.
“Our viewers have fallen for ‘Single Ladies’ and its honest, modern take on love, female friendship and dating,” said Jeff Olde, VH1′s executive vice president of original programming. “We’re extremely pleased to give the audience another great season of the series they love.”
Executive producer Queen Latifah added: “We knew from the beginning this show was going to appeal to people everywhere; it’s funny, sexy and smart.”Season 2 is slated for a 2012 premiere. (http://www.eurweb.com/?p=119260)

I'm getting excited to see what's going to happen this season ,so I can only imagine what's to come in the second season. All I know is that I want the episodes to keep coming.

So the word is that President Barack Obama has been talking about his plans to help Americans with their debt, I hope his plains start quick because there are too many people with debt.

Washington (CNN) -- President Barack Obama said Friday he has not given up hope for a broad deficit reduction deal, urging Republicans to accept a fiscal stability package that includes higher taxes on the wealthy and reforms to politically popular entitlement programs such as Medicare and Social Security.
Such a measure would be part of plan to avert a potential economic meltdown by raising the nation's current $14.3 trillion federal debt ceiling.
The president also stressed he has not ruled out less ambitious plans focused more narrowly on a debt ceiling increase.
"set politics aside" and "do some tough stuff," Obama told reporters at a White House news conference. But "if Washington operates as usual and can't get anything done, let's at least avert Armageddon."(http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/07/15/debt.talks/index.html)

I wonder what will happen to these plans if President Obama is not reelected? Also I feel that this issue of debt needs to stop being all talk and turn into action.

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger's father, Alfonso Valiente, has said that his daughter and her boyfriend of 4-years, Lewis Hamilton, are engaged.

The 26-year old Formula-1 racer proposed to his 32-year old singer & Pussycat Doll. Alfonso said, "You know about the proposal? Yes they are engaged." He also said that, "My future son-in-law is a really nice guy, really down-to-earth," and "He is sincere and he and my daughter seem genuinely happy together. Lewis is a really good guy. When they came to visit, we hired them a Jeep because he had never driven one before."

Lewis and Nicole met at the 2007 European Music Awards in Munich.

Confusingly, Lewis's spokesperson has denied that the couple got engaged.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, July 14th, 2011

Ivanka Trump is about to pop. However, the 30-year old Celebrity Apprentice judge managed to step out last Thursday evening, only one day before her due date! She told reporters at the Snow Flower and the Secret Fan screening, that she's "trying not to think about" the delivery.

"My breathing exercises are going to come in the form of screams and panic," Ivanka jokes. "I have enough anxiety about the type of mother I’m going to be and the nuances of being a parent. [Therefore] I haven’t focused too much on the actual delivery part, which is seriously terrifying," she adds.

Any day now Ivanka and Jared's daughter will arrive.

So the word is that star retired NBA center Shaquillie O'Neal may be in some legal trouble. He may have ordered his friend to kill people and do other things of the illegal nature and later had him kidnapped. This sounds like a mob like situation and I hope Shaq is not wrapped up in it cause its going to be all bad if this is true.
"Shaq’s former pal Robert Ross — an ex-gang member — is suing O’Neal for allegedly masterminding a plot to have him kidnapped by other gang members back in 2008.
In the documents, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Ross claims O’Neal organized and funded a series of murders and brutal attacks on people who did him wrong.
In the suit, Ross alleges, “For many years O’Neal requested and directed [Ross] to perform many personal favors and directed him to perform various tasks including, but not limited to: ordering [Ross] to kill a member of the Downtown Gangster Crips who had disrespected O’Neal in front of his wife Shaunie.”
O’Neal is also accused of issuing “an order to kill a woman whom O’Neal had impregnated and paid for her abortion” and “an order to kill a renown record producer.”
Ross also alleges that O’Neal issued “an order to break an NBA player’s shooting arm.”
Ross — who never says whether the alleged hits were carried out — is suing for unspecified damages.
Shaq’s lawyer, Michael J. Kump, tells TMZ … “The outlandish claims by Robert Ross in his civil complaint are pure fiction.  Shaquille O’Neal befriended Mr. Ross in an attempt to help turn his life around.  Sadly, Mr. Ross abused that friendship again and again.
Kump adds, “Shaquille’s commitment to law enforcement is well-known and documented.  He will not dignify these defamanatory allegations with a response.” (http://www.eurweb.com/?p=118796)

So the word is that singer D'Angelo is making a comeback after eleven years of being MIA, except for his appearances in the news which refer to his run-ins with the law.

D'Angelo was known for his unique voice and his "How does it feel" video. I really am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with because his "Voodoo" album was good and see if he brings the same style or creates something new.

So the word is that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are calling it quits after seven years.  First let me say that I am surprised that this relationship became a marriage, But it is good that they lasted this long. Because this is the longest relationship that has been known for Ms. J.Lo. The couple had two kids.
“We have decided to end our marriage,” they tell PEOPLE exclusively in a joint statement. “This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.” “It is a painful time for all involved,” the statement continues, “and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.” Lopez, 41, and Anthony, 42, wed in June 2004 in a casual – and secret – ceremony at Lopez’s Beverly Hills home. (http://bossip.com/418803/break-ups-after-brushing-off-all-those-rumors-jennifer-lopez-and-marc-anthony-officially-call-it-quits12006/)

I hope this doesn't turn into a nasty divorce and is in the news everyday.

Chris Colfer has mixed feelings about leaving Glee after next season. He says that he found out about his character's [Kurt Hummel] graduation on Twitter! He says to Access Hollywood, "I didn't necessarily know that it was going to be our last season next year, I knew something like that was coming up eventually. I mean, we can't be there forever."

So how does he feel about leaving the show? "I don’t necessarily want to leave so soon, but I mean, it’s fine. It’s what it is. And all things come to an end." It seems like a far cry from co-creator Ryan Murphy's statement, "We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that [it] was a good idea. They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top."

Chris is definitely leaving whilst on top. He just received an Emmy nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy. Chris says, "As a performer, I feel so fulfilled. It’s just a huge category. It’s Best Actor in a Comedy, and we all know that Kurt’s not funny, so I’m very, very happy to be a part of it."

Lastly, Chris adresses the rumours that there will be a Glee spin-off for his character, "I've only heard rumors, I’m not attached to anything officially. So, we’ll see where that goes."

So the word is that all-star boxer Sugar Shane Mosley was ordered to hand over his championship belts to his soon to be ex-wife as part of their divorce. I am like whattttt? That is crazy this man worked hard for his belts and now he has to give them up to his ex?  Dang that makes no sense that he is giving up 3 champ belts as part of their divorce settlement.

"The document states that ex-wife Jin “shall maintain custody and control of three championship belts for each of the respective parties’ three minor children.”  Each of the kids get a belt when they turn 18.
And Jin will get half of Sugar Shane’s cut of profits from videotapes and DVDs of his big fights, including bouts with Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto and Fernando Vargas.
Since the divorce was filed in California and community property rules apply, Jin gets half of Sugar Shane’s fight purses during their marriage.
The boxer’s big fight against Manny Pacquiao was held after the couple separated, so his $3 mil take is his alone.According to TMZ, the couple accumulated 854,410 American Express points during their marriage, and she gets half of that as well."(http://www.eurweb.com/?p=118575)

Man relationships like this make people not even want to give married, if this is what's to come SMH.

Nikki Williams and Weston Cage after their festive dinner in West Hollywood
Nicolas Cage's son Weston and his wife Nikki Williams are not splitting up after all. Last month they got into a pretty heated fight, so heated that it got violent and the police ended up arresting them both. Weston ended up being taken away with a bleeding arm, because Nikki allegedly hit him with a broken glass bottle.

When Weston was released on bail - a raison de $50,000 - he said to reporters, "don't ever get married". He also tweeted, "Made my choice, getting divorced," and "Never hit my wife. why would i start abusing after she was positive after taking a pregnant-c test."

Nikki, who only recently revealed that she's pregnant, says, "Weston and I did get physical with one another and he did not hit me in the face. We may be passionate, but we are not crazy." She also says, "I did drink the night before the arrest. I suppose my hormones got the best of me. That was the only occasion I consumed alcohol since I found out that I'm pregnant and I really regret my decision to do so." The couple had only gotten back from rehab days - for alcohol addiction - days earlier. The Daily Mail suggests that Nikki drinking alcohol could have been what started the fight.
The couple has now decided to put the past behind them. Nikki says, "We are not pressing charges against each other and we are working through our issues." Weston has written several Facebook messages about getting back together with Nikki. A poetical/cryptical one, saying "If you tried to calculate the measure of adoration i hold for my wife, you would realize that it belittles regular

love and shortly after numbers would resign from the threads of formulaic creation that they are bound too, they'd just crumble." A second, very clear message, "I bet my life the my love for Nikki could conquer anything," and a third, "I'M SORRY ABOUT THE PAST 3 MONTHS LETS CONTINUE WHAT WE STARTED."

The couple definitely seems to have continued what they started, stepping out together for a celebratory dinner with Weston's mother, Christina Fulton. Weston seems to have celebrated their reunion with a new haircut. He has shaven off his long, black gothic mane and is now... bald. He says it's because clumps of hair started falling out due to alopecia, although he wrote a more bad-ass reason for shaving his head on Facebook, last Monday, "My hair is gone now because like Hades and my Father both...My head catches on fire when I'm angry......Greek god of darkness and the Ghost rider raised me well. I can take care of myself...."

No word on how the couple is working through their issues - therapy, mediator, screaming sessions - or when their baby is due.
