Before the Twilight series set hormones on fire across the world, Robert Pattinson played Cedric Digory, the dreamboat jock of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  Naturally he had to die.  Digory's vivid and sudden death in The Goblet of Fire is the turning point for the entire series - a  moment that makes the threat of the villains real and lets audiences know that no one is safe from here on out. Harry may save the day, but even he can't save everyone.
